Disha Shetty is an award-winning science journalist who writes mainly on public health, environment, and women with a focus on South Asia. Reporting on the impacts of climate change on local communities has been a key focus area for her over the past several years. She has also worked on data, development and investigative stories.
Disha has over a decade of work experience across television, digital and print formats in both reporting and editing roles. She is based in Pune, India, and travels widely for reporting. Disha has reported from the US, UK, and UAE, apart from over a dozen states in India.
She is also a journalism trainer and mentor.
